Description eric.savary 2005-03-31 06:49:34 UTC
- JDS 3 (build 30b), OOo src680m89
- Activate A11y
- new text
- insert the dummy text ('dt'+F3)
- hold arrow right key to move the caret fast
-> after 10-20 characters, application freezes

Other way to reproduce:
- Tools - Customize - Toolbar
- set cursor at the top of the icon list
- hold arrow down key to move the caret fast
-> at the end of the listbox, application freezes

Only a 'pkill -9 srcore' unlocks the application again.

Note: no problem in OOo 1.1.x or OOo 2.0 beta

->remusd: please evaluate this.
This freeze did not happend some JDS builds ago (meaning, it did not happened
with SO7 on older JDS and now - JDS build 32 - it happens in SO7 as well as SO8).
Bill Haneman told me that at-spi and java-bridge haven't changed since a long time.
We try to find out what's the problem.

I am not able to reproduce it with build 30b.

I manage to reproduce this behavior with SO8-beta in this situation I 'kill'
soffice in order to make the 'freeze' disapear. After killing the SO application
everything works fine. Killing srcore did not solved the problem.
Now I am using SO8_m92 and I sow this problem only a few times, in most of the
cases the SO8 application just closes itself, or 'not responding', but
gnopernicus and other applications are still working ok. Again, when the system
freezes, killing srcore does not solve the problem.
I am using JDS - build 29.
