Description korn 2005-04-07 03:54:10 UTC
1. As root, run Gnopernicus.
2. Run the 'sh' installer of build m91
3. When you get to the "Installer..." dialog (with the progress bar), initial
Gnopernicus flat reivew: press the '.' or 'Del' key on the Numeric Keypad when
the NumLock key is down.
4. Gnopernicus tells you it is now in flat reivew. Use the 2 and 8 keys on the
NumPad to read through the dialog. [note that you cannot read the static text,
progress bar, or Stop button - the subject of a different Issue]
5. Now notice that installation progress has frozen. Wait a while; still no
progress.
6. Press the "Stop" button (with the mouse because it isn't keynavable, the
subject of another Issue). This fails to terminate the installation process.
You need to kill the process directly.

Note: my attempt at reproducing this failed, as the second time the installer
picked up where it had left off (at language support, ~70%), and then ran
through to completion.

Setting keyword "accessibility".

ES->OBR: as discussed, please evaluate if we can fix this or have to pass it to
the installer developpers.

I am not able to reproduce the described behavior in m105 - installation
continues as expected. Maybe there is something special on your machine that
triggers the bug, so it would help if you could reproduce the issue once again.

Closing. Please feel free to re-open this issue when you find a way to reproduce it.
