Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 51051
Ctrl-delete deletes to the left, if a space follows the cursor position
Last modified: 2014-10-19 19:57:54 UTC
- Enter some text in a default text box on some slide. - Place the cursor as shown below, where | denotes the cursor: This| is a test. - Press Ctrl-Delete. - I would be happy with either of the following possible results: This|is a test. This| a test. This|a test. - Unfortunately the word to the *left* is deleted, if Ctrl-delete is pressed and a space follows the cursor position. The unexpected result is: | is a test. However, the behavior is somehow consistent, since Ctrl-backspace deletes to the right (see Issue 50014). :-(
Ctrl-delete also deletes to the left, if the cursor is at the end of a line.
Reassign to me (cgu)
set to new and change the target
I can also reproduce this bug. Please have a look.
Can yo resolve it in 2.0.1?
Just for info, some related problems: Issue 23872 - Deleting the space with ctrl+backspace/delete Issue 50014 - Ctrl backspace (under rare circumstances) deletes to the right of the cursor Issue 51051 - Ctrl-delete deletes to the left, if a space follows the cursor position Regards, Andrew
I cannot reproduce it with AOO 4.1.1. so it is likely resolved by some other bugfix. I resolve this issue with "irreproducible". Feel free to reopen it, if you can still reproduce it with a current build.
