Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 54626
Defining path for opening documents
Last modified: 2017-05-20 10:01:17 UTC
Hopefully I have posted this issue correctly, apologies if it's a repeat. I was unable to find it previousely posted when I searched. I am using OOo 1.9.122 (Beta 2) on windows XP SP2 When Defining the Paths using Tools>Options>General>Paths Under the My documents section you can define the directory in which you would like files to be Saved to using the "Save As" Function. I believe there should be a selectable option to make this the location where OOo can default to, when OPENING documents. Currently, OOo looks in the directory where the last document was opened from on a previous occasion. Allthough this is useful, I believe it would be nice to add a Definable path feature for those who wish to use it.
You'll have an "home-button" when you use the own dialog under: Tools - Options... - OpenOffice.org - General - Open/Save dialogs.
closed.
I do not have said "Home Button" refer to this screen shot: http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0RgCbAmMVkfsg7YhyOOgT6C!bl!vIW9ehT9Aw3pdZs!hY!Q7vG*Sa8Cd0s7lJ30lTnkMNIx6OYBQMeAIEKmM5MTdozle2gBlyy4Ru3*8e!xE/OOopaths.JPG
