Description oo_tom 2005-09-20 10:17:53 UTC
the attached file contains a table of contents with hyperlinks. In StarOffice 7
they direct you to the appropriate page. Open the file in 1.9.130 and the links
won't work correctly. They jump to the end of the table of contents. Saving the
file as *.odt doesn't help either.

Can reproduce with OOo2.0.1rc3 Win98SE.

Opening the file attached and trying to use the links, do not work.

BUT, after doing any edit in any link or Tools > Update > Update All, the
hyperlinks works fine.

I can't a way to ask OOo to update indexes automatically (just fields and charts).
I can't find anything on OOo help that could explain why we must update the
indexes to they get working.

Confirming.

ES->OS: we may have a duplicate on this? The hyperlinks in TOCs behave
internally differently in OOo 2.0 when imported from OOo 1.1.x. Can we avoid to
have to update the TOC before it works?

I tried to open the attached file and I have no problem with the TOC.
The Hyperlink works good with OOo 2.0.2 FR under windows 2000
