Writer freezes upon import of this document; application becomes non-responsive
and consumes all free processor time; memory footprint is constant after freeze.
 Progress bar on import moves to at least 90% before freeze, not visible during
freeze.

Document is a book-style reference, using graphics, tables and fields.  Opens
successfully in Word 2002 SP3, but caused crash of Word when 'field edit'
selected on index entry.  Doc available at:

Unknown if freeze is caused by incomplete .doc feature support or malformed
file, but writer should fail gracefully instead of locking up.

confirming on linux → OS to ALL

regression keyword since the document opens fine in OOo 1.1.5

Yes, I was also able to see the problem with m124 build. But meanwhile, there
have been some Writer-Layout fixes (the loop did not happen in Filter) by the
CWS's swqbf35, swqbf40 and swqbf41. With the newer 680m138 build this already works.

Closed, will work in OO 2.0.1. Check with internal build.
