Description alex.thurgood 2006-01-06 10:50:18 UTC
Using 2.0.1

Trying to create a form with a mysql table using the wizard.
All default options chosen except for the layout, chose Field Names above Fields
(third format layout choice in wizard)

All appears to go well until the last step where you have to click on the button
Create.
Click once on Create, nothing happens. The Create buttons stays depressed for a
few seconds, the screen refreshes but does not move on to the final dialog.
Click a second time on Create : screen corruption of the form
Click a third time on Create : OOo crashes, crash reporter started, does not
recover the document completely, i.e. the basic Writer document is recovered
with a coloured background (according to the selection made in the wizard) but
no fields or other data are present.

I don't recall this happening with 2.0.0, there were other issues with
formatting, but not crashing, so setting regression keyword as well.

setting relevant keywords
Comment 2 Mechtilde 2006-01-06 11:10:25 UTC
Do you use a Field formatted as "datetime"?
Comment 3 ocke.janssen 2006-01-06 11:10:58 UTC
It's a duplicate one.

Aaargghh !!!

@Ocke
Sorry Ocke, but I looked for the potential existing issue beforehand and came up
with nothing, hence the new report :-((

I've just discovered that the crash wrote a log file that I can add to the issue
if needed. Any use ?

@Mechtilde
Yes, there was a timestamp field in the list of fields selected.

I think it's nearly the same problem as issue 51116 and 53448
