Description fabien3d 2006-02-19 23:31:40 UTC
This feature exists in OOo Writer, but it's much more convenient to use OOo
Draw to set up a book or a magazine. Actually, OOo Draw lacks a text wrapping
around a picture option to allow easier and more sophisticated page setups.

Hi, where (in which or with which type of object) do you want to have text
wrapping (and when should it occur)?

Reassigned.

In OOo Writer, you can set a picture and have the text wrapped dynamically
around a picture. I saw this kid of feature in some other publishing
software : the text is in a text box, and when the picture is placed on the
text box, the text dynamically wraps around the picture.

Hi,

It would be really nice to see this - pleeeeeeaaase! The feature already exists
in OpenOffice.org Writer and it would be so useful in Draw instead of making
lots and lots of tiny text boxes to go around images :( :( :( :( :(

I downloaded OpenOffice.org 3 today... still not in that and this ticket has
been open for 3 years now.

Pretty pleeeeeeease!

I really need this feature to be finally rid of my commercial equivalent.
