box.\</ahelp\>
01090100.xhp#par_id3148538.11.help.text

At first, I translated this as "the correct box". But it evidently means relative location.

- to the right box.
+ to the box on the right.
OR
+ to the right-hand box.
OR
+ to the box on the right-hand side.

((etc.) in corrections 2-4 assumes the three alternatives above.)

01090100.xhp#par_id3149763.15.help.text

+ Click to remove the selected field from the box on the right. Removed fields are listed in the box on
the left.

Comment 3 Uwe Fischer 2007-01-22 08:37:03 UTC
will be fixed later. WRT right-to-left mirrored UI settings, the terms "right"
and "left" should be avoided. However, those boxes most often don't have names
to refer to.
Comment 4 Uwe Fischer 2007-05-16 10:19:30 UTC
For the < and > icons, we can use the term "moves the selected item to the box
that the arrow is pointing to". This has the benefit that it is correct for
left-to-right and right-to left UI, and the same string can be used for both
controls (simplifies translation!)
For the LEFT JOIN and RIGHT JOIN these are SQL terms that are not mirrored due
to a mirrored UI. (I hope so). As I understand, LEFT always means the first
table in a SELECT statement, and RIGHT is the "other" table for the JOIN statement.
