Description ddaniels 2002-09-15 02:22:58 UTC
the navigation pane in draw mode does not display or indicate the individual
objects in the drawing. This is unfortunate because OO has an otherwise robust
drawing environment.

The navigation pane 'should' display the
-there does not appear a way to animate the objects (except of course in
presentation mode)
-name of the object as determined seq. or by the user input
-the hyperlink to the object with a browse option for each link (the help makes
no mention of embedding links in graphical objects BTW so this might be a New issue)
-the hyperlink name appears in text on the draw window in BIG unmovable letters
-the hyperlink itself is unmovable, all interactions with the www hyperlinks
activate a browser

thank you
Dennis

Dennis, thanks for posting this issue.

A few comments about this post.

1. Please enter one issue per post.
It looks like you have multiple issues here and I'm not
sure what you are referring to.

2. Please post clear instructions on how to reproduce your
    issue.

There are often many ways to do the same thing in OOo,
so if you don't list the steps to reproduce your issue,
    we cannot reproduce it.

Thanks.

use case demonstrating poor handling of embedded links in drawing
objects after export to html

create a simple ellipse in draw
select the ellipse
activate the hyperlink tool
add link
apply
close
export to html
walk through slide show export dialog windows
view test.html in browser
see screen grab for output

the hyperlink is not "attached" to object
there are no active hyperlinks in the exported html drawing
the hyperlink appears as simple text object

thank you
Dennis

Duplicated on Win NT 4.0 SP6a, OOo 643.

Hyperlinks in draw files are converted as part of the image.

It would be nice if the hyperlink was exported as an HTML tag.

Reassigned to Falko.

Added keyword and changed summary.
In Presentation- and Drawing-module currently embedded hyperlinks are exported
to html as graphics instead of keeping a hyperlink.

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".
