When you cut and paste a text selection from word 2000 to OO.o 2.2 under Windows
2000, any checkbox in the source document is converted to a grey non-printing block.

Checkboxes are used extensively in mixed form/text technical documents

MRU->ES: via RTF interface it is currently not possible (issue 64040). 
The HTML interface gives the mentioned result. Not implemented in HTML?
