Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 78099
RPT: cancelling a report's parameter dialog yields a useless error message
Last modified: 2012-03-01 22:31:58 UTC
- open the attached database document - double-click the report "countries, tabular" => a dialog opens asking for a parameter value - cancel this dialog => an error message is displayed saying that the report could not be opened. While the error messages you see when pressing the "More" button are useless themselves - one is saying "S1000", the other is empty -, the main error message is plain wrong, since the user cancelled the current action.
Created attachment 45645 [details] document to reproduce the bug case
This is a new implementation in CWS oj14. Adding keyword "new_implementation".
The Report Designer iTeam decided that this issue is a "should fix" for the first release of the report designer. Targeting to 2.x, thus.
almost fixed, but not checked in, therefore marked started.
A error message will no longer occur if cancel button is pressed, because it is no error.
Please verify. Thanks.
