Description christoph.lukasiak 2007-07-03 16:34:14 UTC
1. open attached testdoc & open included report in design view
2. select the text box

-> control property 'formatting' is 'number', but should be 'text' by default
(it is created as a textbox, even if it is a formatted field)

The formatted field in forms also use 'number' as default and not text. We
should be consistent here.
Comment 4 christoph.lukasiak 2007-07-31 11:46:41 UTC
formatted field in forms has no default format and is called 'formatted field'
and not 'text box' - if you draw a 'text box' in forms you get a text box (not a
formatted field) -> this is inconsistent ;)

clu->oj: as we agreed, not a really important problem => prio: 4 - oo later
Comment 6 ocke.janssen 2009-04-08 12:18:29 UTC
Currently when you insert a "text box" it is still formatted as number, but when
you assign it to a column, the format from the column is used. So when you
insert a varchar column the format is text.
