Description bjoern.milcke 2007-09-07 15:04:09 UTC
When you start a presentation (e.g. with F5) you get a black screen. The
hourglass in the lower left corner leaves a white box. This does not happen
always, sometimes it works. Sounds like some timing problems.

More detail:
* DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
* Windows XP "Version 2002" / Service Pack 2
* Intel Pentium III Mobile CPU 1200MHz (Sony), 512MB RAM
* Graphics Adapter: Mobility Radeon (ATI) 16MB, Internal DAC (350MHz)
* Installed StarOffice OOG680.m4

Yeah, seems a repaint is somehow missing. Opening the context menu shows the
full slide. Does not happen in window mode, does not happen with DX5 nor vcl
canvas. Does not happen during multi-monitor display.

Have to wait for CWS dxliberate01 to hit HEAD before I can put this somewhere...
Comment 4 Martin Hollmichel 2008-01-25 17:16:36 UTC
set target to 3.0
Comment 5 thb 2008-06-20 17:07:58 UTC
Fixed in CWS thb30fixes
Comment 6 thb 2008-06-25 11:09:57 UTC
@bm: please verify that patch is applied to CWS thb30fixes.
Comment 7 bjoern.milcke 2008-06-25 16:24:45 UTC
->thb: Yes the black-list entry is tagged correctly in the CWS. So, if I understand this correctly, this
means that the graphics adapter no longer uses the DirectX canvas with this patch, right?

Once I get hold again of a machine with such a graphics adapter I will verify it in the product. Meanwhile I
set this to verified as the patch is applied.
