Using maho's m233, I can open the About box and preferences from the application menu in aqua no 
problem.

With the en-GB version preferences, seems to be missing the text for the menu item for some reason.

It would be a good idea to remove "exit" from the "file" menu and "options..." from the "tools" menu.

verified in CWS aquavcl04

Implemented the ReadStringHook of ResMgr, too (%PRODUCTNAME -> TestTool), please
have a look at basic/source/app/app.cxx BasicApp::Main

changed name to VCLTestTool which is the correct one

This issue is closed automatically and wasn't rechecked in a current version of
OOo. The fixed issue should be integrated in OOo since more than half a year. If
you think this issue isn't fixed in a current version (OOo 3.1), please reopen
it and change the field 'Target Milestone' accordingly.
