Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 84210
Controls are displayed outside the page in the page preview
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:44:00 UTC
The attached document also a problem with the Page Preview. If you enter the page preview and select "1 x 1 Pages" so that the page is centered, checkboxes are displayed left in the gray area.

I checked with "OOo-dev 2.3.1 WIN XP: [680m8(Build9236)]" and can confirm the strange effect. No problem with "2.2.1 Multilingual German version WIN XP: [680m18(Build9161)]" I can reproduce that easily: Create new document, insert checkbox, and the effect will be visible. It seems that the "shadow" always appears with a constant distance left from the checkbox Not only checkboxes, all form controls are effected. @norbert2: Pls. specify your OS and Platform!
I have tested OOo 2.3.0 on WindowsXP and StarOffice 8 Product Update 8 on OpenSuse 10.2 (attached screenshot). Both are affected by this bug.
Reassigned to HI.
(Documents are from issue 65798.)
HI->OD: Still occurs in 680m242

Oliver, any chance you could fix this issue for 3.1? Judging by number of duplicates it seems to be major problem.
edit summary
Linux build (tested version: OOo 3.0) is affected, too. Changing "OS" to "All".
OD->kpalagin: My in-tray of OOo 3.1 contains currently 27 issues. Thus, I can not promise a fix for this issue for OOo 3.1. But, I will put this issue on my OOo 3.2 backlog.
The defect is no longer reproducible in OOo 3.1 and DEV300m53
OD->HI: please verify and close this issue
confirmed.
