Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 86069
New look for selection and column/row headers
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:15:24 UTC
For a more modern appearance, the cell selection has to be transparent instead of inverting. The look of column and row headers needs an update, too.
Yeah, this was long over-due. Any more details available?
Please see spec for details (work in progress): http://specs.openoffice.org/calc/features/Selection_Visualization.odt
Thank you, Frank. It looks pretty good.
discoleo->fl, nn Will this issue address also issue 78181? (http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=78181) That would be nice.
Forgot to add myself to cc.
It's on CWS "calcselection". Issue 78181 is separate and not addressed by this.
Reassigning to QA for verification.
In the specification, there is no screenshot for everything expect white backgroud cells. What does it looks like for colored bg ?
Added a second screenshot to the specification showing different colors and object below new tanslucent selection.
fl : thanks! It really looks good.
Created attachment 51587 [details] TestCaseSpecification
verified in internal build cws_calcselection
I have added the test spec. link to the feature spec.
While selection itself looks just great, highlighting of row and column hedaers is not that great and could be improved. What do you think of this?
This feature has been implementen buggy: Issue 88359
