Description eric.bachard 2008-05-25 09:55:50 UTC
Currently, Apple Remote does not work with Impress when using the Aqua version.

This issue has been created in this purpose, and we will try to reuse Martin Kahr source code (under
MIT License).

For the record, Martin Kahr's code can be downloaded at the URL :

If you need the current work, I can prepare you an archive. I'm actually learning more deeply Martin Kahr
code.

@Florian : the code works, but needs a lot of improvements + I'll need a QA man, providing me good
advices. Are you interested ? :-)
Comment 9 florian 2008-08-19 06:54:30 UTC
@eric: I think I can do that :)
Comment 10 eric.bachard 2008-08-20 19:21:03 UTC
@fheckl :

The cws (appleremote01) is now complete, and buildable (if I forgot nothing). FYI, the new apple_remote
module (see issue #i92739# ) must be checked from HEAD doing : cvs co apple_remote
The other modules ( scp2, postprocess and vcl) can be checked or extracted the usual way.

See you on IRC for further questions ?

@fheckl

With the last changes, the Presenter Screen and the external monitor seems to work well (don't forget to
ask the presentation to appear on Monitor 2 ;) ), and I don't see any obvious issue.

FYI, I have updated the wiki page, where I described the complete behavior ( in the draft )
See: http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Mac_OS_X_Porting_-_Apple_Remote_implementation

Waiting for your questions/suggestions/requests before to start the code cleanup (like remove or
modify NSLogs and co, add DEBUG .. and so on ).

Thanks !

@ericb:
Hi Eric, sorry for responding only now (been catching up on email backlog...). I will start a build soon and
then come back to you

@fheckl

No problem  :)

FYI, I added as much of information I could on the wiki. Please have a look too at :
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Mac_OS_X_Porting_-_Apple_Remote_implementation

On this page, I tried to describe the behavior, and what could be another cws implementing some extra
features.

Thanks again for your time,
Eric
