Description niederbayern 2008-05-27 14:30:58 UTC
Bug description:

(1) Create a datapilot table that is based on some record sets containing a
date-field.

(2) Group the datapilot result using any time-based intervall, for example group
by months.

(3) Use the field, that is grouped by date, as a filter.

Bug: No data in result.

I can confirm this üproblem as discussed in IRC

It works with 2.4.0 and OOH_m16 aka 2.4.1 RC1 so it is a regression
Comment 3 kyoshida 2008-05-27 15:35:51 UTC
Let me take a look.
Comment 4 kyoshida 2008-06-05 14:26:16 UTC
Ok, I can see why it's not working because I didn't even know the page field
works like that for date values!

I'll take care of this.
Comment 5 Martin Hollmichel 2008-07-14 13:46:11 UTC
this issue has been declared as stopper for 3.0 release. Will be a fix available
in time ?
Comment 6 kyoshida 2008-07-14 14:18:02 UTC
Yeah, I will try. I have other high priority items at the moment, but this one
is also high on my list. Do we have any specific deadline for this? That would
make my planning a little easier.
Comment 7 kyoshida 2008-07-14 14:31:24 UTC
Actually I see here:
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/OOoRelease30

that the last CWS integration for bug fixes if July 18th, and I can tell you
that I won't have enough time to fix this, QA the CWS and all the other stuff by
the date. Sorry folks.
Comment 8 uwe.luebbers 2008-07-17 11:47:28 UTC
New date for last CWS integration is now July 31st, do we have the chance to get
a fix for this problem in this timeframe? If not I will remove this issue from the
stopper list.
Comment 9 kyoshida 2008-07-17 14:31:56 UTC
@ul: let me take a closer look at it today to see how long it might take to fix
this.

a patch to fix this
Comment 11 kyoshida 2008-07-18 00:55:23 UTC
@ul: fixed and attached a patch. Can you apply it to a CWS if you have any open
CWS for last minute fixes? Thanks.
Comment 12 kyoshida 2008-07-18 00:56:00 UTC
setting the issue type to PATCH.
Comment 13 uwe.luebbers 2008-07-18 11:00:45 UTC
Hi Kohei, that was pretty fast :-)
Thank you, would you please set the state to "fixed".
That would make it more visible.
Comment 14 kyoshida 2008-07-18 12:40:52 UTC
Sure. No problem. Setting it to FIXED.
Comment 15 kyoshida 2008-07-23 05:36:19 UTC
Is anybody going to take care of committing this patch to a CWS? We normally
set the issue to FIXED when the patch is committed to a CWS. So, I'm a little
concerned whether this patch may become forgotten since it's really marked FIXED.
Comment 16 Mechtilde 2008-08-02 22:45:52 UTC
@kohei

which CWS swhould contain the fix?
Comment 17 kyoshida 2008-08-03 03:06:57 UTC
I don't know. ul?
Comment 18 kyoshida 2008-08-04 16:31:18 UTC
Ok. I'm beginning to worry. Is my patch really committed? :-)
Comment 19 kyoshida 2008-08-05 14:36:43 UTC
re-opening this. There is no sign of my patch being committed anywhere.

@ul: let me know if I'm mistaken and the patch had already been committed.
Comment 20 uwe.luebbers 2008-08-05 14:41:17 UTC
@ kohei,

Sorry for my late reply, I will try to find out.
Comment 21 uwe.luebbers 2008-08-06 14:36:13 UTC
patch is part of CWS pflin11, so we are back on track.
Sorry for the confusion, it was my mistake ;-)
Comment 22 kyoshida 2008-08-06 16:35:37 UTC
Yup. So we can call it fixed in pflin11 cws. We're still trying to find a QA
rep internally in Novell, but the timing is not the best, as our primary QA guy
is on vacation. We'll see what we can do here.
