Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:15:24 UTC
Bug description: (1) Create a datapilot table that is based on some record sets containing a date-field. (2) Group the datapilot result using any time-based intervall, for example group by months. (3) Use the field, that is grouped by date, as a filter. Bug: No data in result.
Created attachment 53982 [details] Calc document. In cell B16 select "May" or "June". You will see the bug.
I can confirm this üproblem as discussed in IRC It works with 2.4.0 and OOH_m16 aka 2.4.1 RC1 so it is a regression
Let me take a look.
Ok, I can see why it's not working because I didn't even know the page field works like that for date values! I'll take care of this.
this issue has been declared as stopper for 3.0 release. Will be a fix available in time ?
Yeah, I will try. I have other high priority items at the moment, but this one is also high on my list. Do we have any specific deadline for this? That would make my planning a little easier.
Actually I see here: http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/OOoRelease30 that the last CWS integration for bug fixes if July 18th, and I can tell you that I won't have enough time to fix this, QA the CWS and all the other stuff by the date. Sorry folks.
New date for last CWS integration is now July 31st, do we have the chance to get a fix for this problem in this timeframe? If not I will remove this issue from the stopper list.
@ul: let me take a closer look at it today to see how long it might take to fix this.
Created attachment 55196 [details] a patch to fix this
@ul: fixed and attached a patch. Can you apply it to a CWS if you have any open CWS for last minute fixes? Thanks.
setting the issue type to PATCH.
Hi Kohei, that was pretty fast :-) Thank you, would you please set the state to "fixed". That would make it more visible.
Sure. No problem. Setting it to FIXED.
Is anybody going to take care of committing this patch to a CWS? We normally set the issue to FIXED when the patch is committed to a CWS. So, I'm a little concerned whether this patch may become forgotten since it's really marked FIXED.
@kohei which CWS swhould contain the fix?
I don't know. ul?
Ok. I'm beginning to worry. Is my patch really committed? :-)
re-opening this. There is no sign of my patch being committed anywhere. @ul: let me know if I'm mistaken and the patch had already been committed.
@ kohei, Sorry for my late reply, I will try to find out.
patch is part of CWS pflin11, so we are back on track. Sorry for the confusion, it was my mistake ;-)
Yup. So we can call it fixed in pflin11 cws. We're still trying to find a QA rep internally in Novell, but the timing is not the best, as our primary QA guy is on vacation. We'll see what we can do here.
Verified in the following pflin11 builds with the attached document. Win-XP2-730-pflin11-install_set.zip O3-build-3221-pflin11-install_set.zip
please kenyu verify this issue again. thanks
