Description Mechtilde 2008-07-09 15:32:53 UTC
I installed DEV300_m23 via setup.exe -a after unzip.

When I start it e.g from terminal I get the following error message in German:

"Diese Anwendung konnte nicht gestartet werden, da die
Side-by-Side-Konfiguration ungültig ist. Weitere Informationen finden
Sie im Anwendungsereignisprotokoll."

Something like: "This Application can't be started, because the side-by-side
configuration is invalid. You can get more information in the application protokoll"

Please have a look at the readme: "If you perform an administrative installation
using setup /a, you need to make sure that the file msvc90.dll is installed on
the system. This file is required for OpenOffice.org to start after an
administrative installation. You can get the file from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=9B2DA534-3E03-4391-8A4D-074B9F2BC1BF"
