Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 93210
RTL layout not working properly (missing spacing between Western and Hebrew text)
Last modified: 2009-07-23 12:35:17 UTC
When writing in a paragraph with Right to Left direction, typing and editing does not work properly. If there is mixed text, Hebrew and English, a space between the words does not appear at the right place, and it is not possible to edit the text correctly. When changing the direction to Left to Right, it works properly.

SBA: Confirming issue. Changing Prio to P3. SBA->HDU: As seen in the bugdoc: - The RTL line has Hebrew and Eglish mixed text. The cursor position at the right edge is not correctly "beside the characters". Easy to be seen when cursor travelling char-by-char. - When switching on the display of nonprinting characters, the space marks get visible and the mixed text reformats. But then the spacing between Hebrew and English Text is incorrect at the left edge. Set target OOo 3.1., put FME and myself on c/c. Adjusting summary to reflect the findings. SBA->HDU: Please proceed, thx.
