Description iragraves 2008-09-21 18:11:22 UTC
I started Base and opened "biblio.odb" (included in OpenOffice.org), then opened
the table "biblio". Since there are many columns, they exceed the display width.
Whenever I now flip the view one column to the right (by clicking on a cell at
the right border and pressing tab), the columns are drawn with a wrong offset.
The offset error seems to increase by every flip, after a few strokes on the tab
key I get columns drawn upon each other at the left of the screen. Some columns
also appear to be drawn twice above each other, with an offset of about 1 pixel
(making the text appear bold).

The error was reproducable across screen resolutions (1024x768 / 1400x1050) and
dpi settings (144 dpi, 96 dpi). Calc works fine when flipping columns.

The redraw procedure seems to work fine, however. So, when I force a redraw by
switching to another application and back, all the above display errors disappear.

Comment 7 Frank Schönheit 2008-11-20 10:05:10 UTC
fs->msc: To see the bug before the fix, just use an m35, and display the
"biblio" table in the data source browser, then repeatedly scroll to the right,
using the horizontal scrollbar's right hand side arrow.
