MSO Problem?
My "Microsoft Office Word Viewer 2003 (11.6506.6505) SP1" opens
"generic_de-1.doc" without any problem.

MRU->HBRINKM: it looks that the drop cap in the table on page 3 is exported in a
wrong way. When opening the document in Word 2007 a message telling something
about a wrong table in the file format will appear. The content of the table
will be displayed wrong and I think this has to do with the drop cap export there.
The content in the table will not be displayed properly in Word, when trying to
delete the wrong drop cap, text in that cell will be hidden e.g.

Hello Wolfgang, *,
I can confirm your observation with the Germanophone version of OOO320m17 under
Debian SID AMD64. Interestingly, on page 3 the umlauts in the right columns got
lost (are below the table on page 4) ... :(
HTH
Thomas.
