Description drewjensen.inbox 2008-11-22 11:47:55 UTC
Test system w/ DEV300m_35 - SRB 1.0.9.9363 - Ubuntu 8.10(x64)

Open any odb file
Start the SRB - select a data source
Set the background color for the page to some color
Double click a field in the Add fields dialog

By default the background color is set to transparent for controls, but this is
not displayed at edit time - nor is setting a color for the control background
displayed. It is displayed properly when the report is run.
Comment 1 Frank Schönheit 2008-11-22 13:21:14 UTC
fs->aw: That's a general problem of form controls, not only in the SRB: In
design mode, they're always drawn with a white background. Just open the
attached sample document, and toggle the design mode - in alive mode, the
control background is transparent, in design mode, it's white.

(Note that you need to move the control in design mode before switching to alive
mode, to work around issue 93318.)

Comment 3 Frank Schönheit 2008-11-22 13:23:35 UTC
This is a regression in m30 (vs. m29), most probably caused by CWS aw30.
Comment 4 Frank Schönheit 2008-11-22 13:29:03 UTC
Just double-checked in CWS aw058, which fixed most of the known form control
related issues - the bug is fixed there as well. Adding to CWS; setting to FIXED.
Comment 5 Frank Schönheit 2008-11-22 13:29:29 UTC
VERIFIED it's fixed in CWS aw058
Comment 6 Frank Schönheit 2008-11-22 13:29:54 UTC
note: aw058 is already integrated, so the fix will be in m36.
Comment 7 Armin Le Grand 2008-12-10 14:52:01 UTC
AW: Closing, fixed.
