The password protection  in the writer File -> Save as does not appear and can
so not used. 
However I can the pasword protected files read in.

@MBA: tested on Vista. The Password checkbox in the "Save as" dialog is only in
OOo dialog available. Not when using native system dialog.
This was not the case in 2.4.1.
