I have made some Calc-files in OO ver 2.4. I have add some pictures to the files.
This pictures are JPG-files. This pictures are on worksheet 3,4 and 5.
When I open the file and also worksheet 1 and 2 (without a picture), I can work
porperly. But when I open the worksheet 3, 4 or 5 Calc crashed.
Thereafter I erase the pictures by MS Excel the problem has solved.
My LINUX-operating system: Ubuntu 8.10

1. Calc crashes when adding a picture to a worksheet.
2. Calc crashes when a worksheet has a picture in it.

Adding a jpeg to a Calc worksheet WFM (OOO300m9 Aqua Intel on OS X 10.5.6).
Could you please upload a file which crashes for you?

Original reporter told me by private email that the problem has gone away after
updating. Resolving.
