hdu: could you please comment on this issue? I guess this is a gsl issue. thanks!
reassign. many thanks for your time.
hdu: please see the attached pdf and compare at the B2 cell and the right side of C2 cell. B2 and the right side of C2 cell must be the same, but the right side of C2 cell, you'll see chars are rotated in 90 deg. Thanks!
I suspect that this a problem of the macport only. Can you confirm this by testing this document on Win or an Unx platform? Are the codepoints shown in the unicode baseplane, i.e. <U+FFFF ?

I tested this issue on Win XP(OOo320m12). It displayed correctly in PDF. OOo320m12 has same problem on Mac OS X(10.5.8, Leopard) .
Please compare 2(Screen) and 3(PDF) of zipdata. C3 data rotate in 90 degree in 3(VerticallystackedJapanese.pdf). 1: VerticallystackedJapanese.ods, Original Data 2: VerticallystackedJapanese.tiff, Capture of the window 3: VerticallystackedJapanese.pdf, PDF data
